Irondequoit Family Court Case Types

The Monroe County Family Court has jurisdiction over domestic violence cases, child abuse and neglect, juvenile delinquency, custody and visitation rights, adoptions, guardianship for minors, and emancipation. It also handles child support, spousal support, paternity, PINS cases, and family offense petitions. The court cannot grant a divorce. Divorce goes to the Monroe County Supreme Court.

The clerk provides online access through the Online Office Records System. Most land records and judgments from the early 1970s forward are in the system. The system shows basic case data but does not display sealed or confidential details.
