The Family Court and County Court share the same building at 13 Eaton Avenue. The Supreme Court is at a different location on West Park Place at the Chenango County Courthouse. If you need divorce records, you go to the Supreme Court, not the Family Court.

Chenango County Family Court Case Types

Chenango County Family Court handles all matters involving children and families. This includes adoption, guardianship, foster care approval and review, juvenile delinquency, PINS, family offense (domestic violence), child protective proceedings for abuse and neglect, termination of parental rights, custody and visitation, and support cases.
